Josh Wells, President of Eagle Island, LLC

Josh Wells is the founder of Eagle Island, LLC. He has nearly two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Since his first-time setting foot on a well
pad at the age of 20 he has been fascinated with all aspects of the industry.
Seeing many of the local landowners in places like Texas, North Dakota,
Pennsylvania, and Ohio making money with oil wells on their property, he was
inspired to not just work on other people's oil leases, but to build and develop his
own projects.

After leaving the U.S. Army in 2007 Josh began his journey of learning all aspects
of the oil and gas industry. He began by working as an entry level inspector in oil
and gas refineries. From there his career has taken him all over the world. He has
worked on well pads, drilling platforms, pipelines, and refineries from the Arctic
Circle, to the Caribbean Islands.

In 2019, Mr. Wells set out to accomplish his goal of bringing to his core group oil
well investors directly to exploration and developmental oil drilling projects at
industry cost. Through Eagle Island, LLC, he has been successful in choosing
operators who find and produce prosperous wells.

Howard R. Herbert
President, NOVCO Operating Company
Retired Lawyer
Oil and Gas Operator
Oil and Gas Consultant

Howard is a native Texan and a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army’s distinguished 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After completing his service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He was later accepted into St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree.

Howard practiced law in both Texas and Federal Courts for more than twenty years, focusing primarily on real estate, oil, and gas law. Alongside his legal career, he accumulated over forty years of experience in all phases of the oil and gas industry. He participated in the drilling and completion of wells in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas.

In 1995, Howard formed the Oil and Gas Operating Company and purchased oil and gas production on the Gulf Coast of Texas from Conoco. This production was successfully operated throughout its productive life, marketing more than 1.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas and approximately 225,000 barrels of oil. During this time, rework operations were conducted on existing wells, new wells were drilled, and one depleted gas well was successfully converted into a commercial saltwater disposal well.

In 2006, an additional 550-acre oil and gas lease was acquired in Coleman County, Texas. Four wells were drilled on the lease, and a partial water flood was established as a pilot enhanced oil recovery project. The project ultimately produced around 54,000 barrels of oil before it was sold in 2010.

In 2014, another oil and gas lease was acquired near the site of the original production, where Howard continued operations as a successful oil and gas operator. He also provided consulting services to Taylor Operating Company during the removal of a non-performing operator from the Taylor Oil and Gas Leases in Coleman County, Texas. After Taylor assumed operation of the leases, Howard continued to consult on the wells drilled by the former operator. In 2019, he formed NOVCO Operating Company and assumed full operation of the Taylor Oil and Gas Leases.

Howard lives near Abilene, Texas, and also serves as a Volunteer, Mentor, and Certified Chaplain’s Assistant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

The Management Team

Eagle Island LLC (EILLC) is the offeror of the drilling program herein (the “Prospect”). EILLC, however, will not operate the well drilled pursuant to this offering. As a result of its many years in the oil and gas industry, EILLC is highly capable of selecting prospects that offer a high degree of commercial production potential with a minimal degree of risk.

EILLC’s experience also extends to engaging competent, successful operators and their consultants to drill, complete, and produce the offered Prospect. The Prospect offered herein will be a “farm-out” of a 40-acre drilling unit from the owner of the West Taylor Oil, Gas, and Mineral Lease — NOVCO Operating Company (NOC).

NOC is licensed by the Railroad Commission of Texas as an oil and gas operator and currently operates the West and East Taylor Oil, Gas, and Mineral Leases in Coleman County, Texas. NOC will drill, complete, produce, and operate the proposed well through a wholly owned subsidiary company.

The principals and consultants of NOC have a combined drilling, completion, and operating history exceeding 50 years. They have participated in drilling and production prospects across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. They were instrumental in purchasing Texas Gulf Coast production from a major U.S. oil and gas company. The successful operation of the purchased leases resulted in the production and sale of over 1.5 billion cubic feet (BCF) of natural gas and 225,000 barrels of oil (BO)—over $20,000,000 worth of energy at today’s prices.
